ABOUT

Being adopted and raised an only child, I’ve always been able to keep myself busy building hotels for bugs and drawing complex worlds in my sketchbook, but when my parents bought me a DV Camera for my 11th birthday, I discovered the filmmaking process and I was immediately hooked. With this new passion, I began to build a community around me that spent our afternoons and evenings making little movies. Since then, filmmaking has always been how I experience the world around me, how I communicate my thoughts, how I form bonds with others, and in a way it’s become a form of therapy.”

As a commercial cinematographer and director, I’ve spent years honing my craft, working with major agencies and brands on hundreds of projects. In addition to my commercial work, I’ve completed a series of narrative short films, and I’m forever a student of storytelling. After spending years as a PA working my way up from the bottom, I eventually became a part time video editor before landing my first director gig. Because I began my creative career as an editor, I’m always shooting with the edit in mind.
